Riverview XC @ Freedom Invitational
Riverview's cross country team has often raced at the Freedom Invitational at Brush Creek State Park. This venue is a great course for viewing the runners because the race organizers have designed the course so that the racers come past the crowd (start/finish line) multiple times throughout the race.
The timing of this race is perfect for preparing for the WPIAL Championships. It is a tough but fair course that challenges the runners. The event is typically filled with strong teams from single- and double-A from Southwestern PA. During some years, top teams from District X in Northwestern PA compete, so the Raiders have a chance to measure themselves against some very good competition.
